Wilmington (DE) Alumnae Chapter

This event is hosted by the Wilmington (DE) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a non-profit organization that provides community service throughout the world.

Chartered on March 6, 1949 in Wilmington, we have a track record of addressing social needs in New Castle County. The chapter has been recognized for its comprehensive, innovative and impactful programming and the recipient of several honors from the national and regional organizations of DST, the Governor’s Outstanding Volunteer Award for Community Service, as well as awards and recognition from other community and local organizations.

From our youth initiatives such as the Delta Academy, Delta GEMS and EMBODI mentoring programs, the Young Entrepreneur Program and the Jabberwock scholarship program to our annual community events such as Financial Fortitude, Empowering Our Sisters: Our Journey to Wellness and the RED Run 5k, we are focused on meeting the need.
